The structure which was built as a schoolhouse in 1961 will see a brand-new standing-seam roof installed. There will be insulation included above the bathrooms, corridor and workplaces. With this being done, we must see an enhancement of the energy envelope of the structure, which currently allows heat to leave over the original flat roofing location. The redesigns are moneyed by a $400,000 Community Development Block Grant award through the Town of Jay as part of the New York Rising flood mitigation program. The station house in AuSable Forks offers tactical position for an emergency response command center during flood and other catastrophes due to its central location and its huge commercial-sized kitchen area, which is a designated American Red Cross center.
Royal Oak City Clerk's office relocating

The Royal Oak City Clerk's office will be closed on Monday as it prepares to relocate to the cop's structure following a burst heating pipe on Mar. 8 that caused significant water damage to 3 floors at City Hall. The clerk's personnel will move into the former traffic bureau space, which lies directly west of the main desk at the authorities building at 221 E. Third. The relocation is expected to last for 6 weeks or more as restoration crews work to repair the water damage, which was caused when a connection to a heating system in the city attorney's office suite on the 2nd floor failed. Water leaked through the floor into the clerk's office situated underneath it. Royal Oak's City Hall, which was built in 1952, is heated by a boiler system. I just found a great list of free boiler grant here.
